Thanks so much for your comment! No I did not cover the edges with moss– I considered it, but thought that the hot glue might not hold up too well if I wrapped the moss down to the sides. That’s why I spray painted the shamrock green– it blends in perfectly on the edges. We have a DeWalt Orbital Jigsaw (Model DW331). It’s very easy to operate and we’ve used it for tons of projects in our house so far and have been happy with the results. There’s a great variety of power saws out there depending on your purpose (cost, quality, etc.)…Good luck finding one to call your own!
